Ms. Hannah is Bananas is another great book in the My Weird School series. Once you get to know the main characters ( A.J. and Andrea ) you will really love the book! A.J. hates school and most of all, he hates Andrea.

The new art teacher they have is Ms. Hannah. She is very crazy. Mrs. Hannah wears dresses made out of pot holders and collects garbage instead of throwing it out. She is making a garbage ball and throwing everything that is garbage in the ball (that’s getting bigger and bigger each time they see her). Plus, she is making A.J. and Andrea be partners in a contest to draw anything you wanted.

They decided to draw a butterfly (since Andrea loves butterflies) riding a skateboard (since A.J. loves skateboards). They fight over who gets to bring it home and it rips.Their teacher sees that and sends them to the principals office. Mr. Klutz says they have to be nice to each other for one day if they wanted a candy bar. Will A.J. and Andrea get a candy bar? Will they win the contest? What will happen next?

I really really love the weird school books. They are a little young for me but I still have A LOT of their books. They are so hilarious and once you start reading them, you can’t wait to see what funny thing happens next. Trust me, about 5 times in this book you will laugh out loud. I love the way Dan Gutman writes his books.

I really wish I could meet the characters in this book. I love the whole series and I really think you should try this book.
