The book, is a book about anti-bullying. It is non-fiction, and anyone who is having bullying troubles at school should really get this book. it explains all about bullying, and ways for you to avoid it. It explains a game called “baffle that bully,” where you can confuse the bully. It also talks about breathing treatments you can do, and ways for you not to freak out when somebody bullies you.

If you aren’t bullied, this would still be a great book in case you ever get bullied.

I personally am very good friends with the authors, and I have to say myself, they did a great job. There are great illustrations, and it’s an over-all great book. So if you have a Kindle and want to be prepared in the case of bullying, go download this book!

Review: The Sinister Sweetness of Splendid Academy

The book The Sinister Sweetness of Splendid Academy is, well, splendid! This book is a twisted tale of Hansel and Gretel, but I personally think this story is better than the original!! The main character of the book is a girl named Lorelei and her brother is Bryan. They go to this new school, called Splendid Academy, and Lorelei immediately finds something wrong – nobody will stop eating!! They are free to roam the halls, go to the computer lab or library, or ditch school, but they have to eat no matter what! You will have to read the book to figure out what is wrong with this weird school!

This book is amazing. I can really tell that the author used her imagination in this story a lot, and I like that.

Review: The Templeton Twins Have an Idea

Title: The Templeton Twins Have an Idea

Favorite Character: Abigail and John

This book is about two twins, Abigail and John. They live with their father, Professor Elton Templeton and their dog, Cassie. They are in for a big adventure when Dean D. Dean and Dan D. Dean (more twins) kidnap them and their dog!

One reason I liked this story is because it’s adventurous. For example, when the Dean twins come to kidnap them or the Twins plan an escape. This is a good story for people who love adventure.

The best part of the book is that it’s also very funny. After the twin had meatloaf for dinner, the author stopped the story and put a recipe for meatloaf! The review questions might look boring but they are actually jokes! This book is also good for people who like funny things.
No matter who you are, you should read this book when it comes out!

Review: Keeper of the Lost Cities

Title: Keeper of the Lost Cities

Favorite Character: Keefe

Keeper of the Lost Cities is over-all an amazing book. It’s about a girl named Sophie Foster who realizes she is an elf. She gets taken to the land of elves by an elf named Fitz, who she has a MAJOR crush on. I would go on and on about how amazing and detailed this book is, but then you wouldn’t have to read the book. :)

My favorite character is Keefe, Fitz’s best friend, because he is really funny and makes everything a joke. Sophie also kind of has a crush on Keefe, but not as much as Fitz. I would rate this book 6 stars, but I can only rate it 5 stars, so 5 stars it is! My favorite part of the book is when the midterm’s are over, because there are banners and streamers everywhere and it sounds very fun. If you need a fall book to read, grab this book!

Review: Journal of a Schoolyard Bully: Cyberbully

Title: Journal of a Schoolyard Bully: Cyberbully Author:Farley Katz Ages: 10-14 Favorite Character: Niko

This book is the 2nd book of a bully who writes everything in his journal. I personally loved the 1st book and I know many other people who do too! This book has many interesting, funny, and sad twists to it. I am sure everyone will LOVE this book when it comes out, as I know I did.

I really like the part where Niko’s little brother gets a dog and Niko tries to make it tough. But that’s impossible, because Niko’s brother’s dog is the sweetest little thing ever.

I really like the character Niko because he has a really weird way of bullying. Instead of just walking up to someone and hurting/being mean to that person, he thinks of who to bully and what to say before he actually does it. I also like the author Farley Katz because this author really knows what kids like.
